I had a plan for today!  My intention was to wake up slowly and then read my book very decadently in bed for at least half an hour before getting up.  For the first time for weeks, I didn’t have to set the alarm, Saturday was free and then….

We  sold a dish on Ebay.  A very nice dish called Pony by Dugan, rather rare because it has a 10 ruffled edge, they usually have less.  Anyway it is sold to Australia, and as the post office shuts at mid-day we need to get it packed and posted soonest.

And there is an Antique Fair at Ryton, (on the edge of Coventry) today which my Other Half wants to visit.  One day only, usually Sunday but for some reason this time it is now.

I could stay at home, he is quite able to visit Antique Fairs on his own, but I might miss finding treasure.  He usually only focusses on Carnival Glass and books, and I like to look at everything.

And I have had to get up because he is rubbish at packing, it is a long way to Australia and it would be a shame for the dish to arrive scrambled, and I would be very sad if it has survived around a century only for us to be the cause of its demise.

Perhaps I will get to wake up slowly tomorrow, although I am making no plans, you just never know what is around the corner, so to speak.

I put it down to the fact that we are both Aquarians.  Apparently not given to routine and rather eccentric!!!
